A Must-have Shopify App for BFCM

A must-have Shopify app for BFCM

We all know gift with purchase (GWP) can be a great way to get customers to buy more. But, it can also be tricky to explain how they can claim their free gift in email, not to mention in Google or Meta ads.

Implementing GWP (especially if it’s only available for select items) in Shopify isn’t straightforward. Customers need to add all products (including the free gift) to their cart and apply a code at checkout to redeem the offer.

Because of that, when designing emails/ads, we need to explain how customers can claim the gift. Otherwise, they might get confused, and confused customers won’t buy.

Look at the examples below. Imagine you need to do this every time you run a GWP campaign. I don’t know about you, but for me, I find it really annoying.

As many of our sustainable brands want to offer GWP instead of discounts during the upcoming BFCM, we decided we need a better solution.

Luckily, after a lot of research, we found EasyGift.

EasyGift allows you to automate the process of claiming the gift. You can create rules that trigger when an item is added to cart or purchased, and then those rules will automatically apply. Customers don't need to add code anymore, making shopping experiences seamless!

We tested EasyGift in a recent campaign for a client and have seen GREAT results across email, Google, and Meta ads. So if you’ll offer free FWP during BFCM, I’d recommend installing EasyGift.

Hope this tool is useful to you. Have a great weekend.
